The King is in his summer residence in Hua Hin preparing for his birthday celebrations next week, so we are all well protected by the Thai navy.
Die Marine bewacht den Strand.
Not much beach where we were, so we had to rely on the hotel pool.
Man badet eher am Pool- Strand schmal und keine Infrastruktur.
Hua Hin town
In der Stadt gibt es viele Geschäfte- jeder will mir einen Anzug verkaufen.
The town is full of fish restaurants built on stilts over the water
Ehemalige Fischfabriken wurden zu Restaurants umgebaut.
As usual, the food was wonderful, and fresh from the sea
Nirgends ist angeblich der Fisch und sind die Meeresfrüchte frischer als hier. Sie schmecken jedenfalls sehr gut.
On 1 December we had to leave Thailand to travel on to Delhi.....

Am 1.Dezember: Fahrt zum Flughafen - wegen Unruhen umfahren wir das Zentrum.
