On 17 October serious bushfires broke out to the north, south, and west of Sydney, as reflected in the city skyscape.
Am 17. Oktober, nach einer langen Trockenperiode, brachen bei heißen Wind rund um Sydney mehrere Buschfeuer aus- trotz wolkenlosen Himmel war die Sonne kaum zu sehen- hunderte Häuser brannten- Straßen- auch Autobahnen- waren gesperrt.
